In a bar located on the 20th floor of a building, there were two fellas.
The first man remarked, “I bet you $100 I can leap out that window and come right back in!”
The second man replied, “Alright, sounds good,” and the barman accepted the bet.
Without hesitation, the first man leaped out the window, vanished for a moment, and then immediately re-entered. Frustrated about losing the $100, the second man challenged, “I’ll wager you another $100 that you can’t do it again.” The barman agreed to this bet. The first man, as expected, jumped out the window, disappeared for a brief instant, and then returned.
Convinced he had just witnessed some unusual luck, the second man proposed, “Alright, I’ll bet you $300 that I can jump out the window and come back in.” The first man responded, “Sure, go for it.” The second man jumped out the window but tragically fell to the pavement below.
He did not survive.
Back in the bar, the barman said to the first man, “Wow, you can really be a bastard when you’re drunk, Superman.”
