A lady was on her way to work, walking down the street when she noticed a parrot in a pet store. She stopped to take a closer look at the bird, which then spoke to her, “Hey lady, you are really ugly.”
This infuriated the lady! Angrily, she walked past the store on her way to work.
Later, on her return home, she spotted the same parrot in the window, and as soon as it saw her, it exclaimed, “Hey lady, you are really ugly.”
Now, she was beyond angry. The following day, while heading to work, she encountered the same parrot once more, and yet again it said, “Hey lady, you are really ugly.”
Furious, the lady marched into the store and threatened to sue the establishment and have the bird killed. The store manager sincerely apologized and assured her that the parrot would not repeat that comment again.
However, when the lady walked past the store after work, the parrot called out to her, “Hey lady.”
She hesitated and replied, “Yes?”
The bird then said, “You know.”
