Torres is bound to get a good reaction from the Liverpool fans

It is anticipated that Fernando Torres will make his Chelsea debut against his former team, Liverpool, in the Premier League this Sunday (Monday AEDT), a mere six days after his record-setting transfer from the Reds.

The Spanish forward frustrated Liverpool supporters by stating that he seized the opportunity to join a “top-level club” after spending three years at Anfield, following his move to the defending champions of England.

Torres believes that it is fate for him to debut for the Blues against Liverpool, but it remains uncertain if Chelsea’s manager, Carlo Ancelotti, will include him in the starting lineup at Stamford Bridge.

Both squads are displaying strong performances, yet unbeaten leader Manchester United continues to show no signs of decelerating as they prepare for their match against Wolverhampton on Saturday (Sunday AEDT).
