The new 2011 Wests Tigers jerseys have been claimed by rock band Bon Jovi as the first in the world to own them.
Before their initial concert in Sydney at the Sydney Football Stadium, backstage, Captain Robbie Farah presented each member of the band—lead singer Jon Bon Jovi, guitarist Richie Sambora, drummer Tico Torres, and keyboard player David Bryan—with personalized Wests Tigers jerseys.
Photos capturing this jersey presentation were taken, providing Wests Tigers with exceptional marketing exposure for the new jerseys, both locally and internationally.
The band expressed their enthusiasm for performing at one of the Wests Tigers’ home grounds and acknowledged the club’s thoughtful gesture in gifting them their own jerseys.
Now, Wests Tigers can proudly assert that one of the world’s most iconic rock bands is among their genuine supporters.
The new Wests Tigers jerseys will not be available for purchase until early 2011.
