Greg Inglis joins The Rabbitohs

A three-year deal with South Sydney has been signed by Greg Inglis.

Speculation regarding the Australian and Queensland centre’s move to the Rabbitohs was confirmed by a statement released by the club, following his decision to not honor a previous agreement with Brisbane.

“I am really excited about joining the South Sydney Rabbitohs,” Inglis expressed.

“The last few months have felt like a rollercoaster, but now I can eagerly anticipate getting back into training and preparing for the upcoming season.”

“This is an exhilarating time, and I can’t wait to wear the red and green jersey for the first time next year.”

Shane Richardson, the Rabbitohs chief executive, remarked: “We are eager to have Greg as a member of our club for the next three seasons, and we extend a warm welcome to him as part of the Rabbitohs family.”

Inglis was still under contract with Melbourne Storm for two more years, needing an official release to compete for a different club.
