Born in Adelaide, Anna Rawson first gained attention at just sixteen, winning a modeling competition for Dolly magazine.
In the year 2000, she participated in the Australian Open, where she secured a golfing scholarship at the University of Southern California.
Leading the USC team, she achieved their first national championship, and in 2003, she received an invitation to play a round of golf with George W. Bush at the White House.
She recalled his golfing skills as “very average.”
Anna marked her presence in the professional sports scene by finishing 5th in the Orient Masters in China, her first professional tournament. During her initial Futures Tour, she secured 2 top-ten finishes and ranked 22nd based on her average scores for that year.
In November 2005, Anna went to Spain for the Ladies European Tour School, where she qualified in 3rd place and received her 2006 tour card.
Within the European Tour, Anna recorded 5 top-ten finishes and 8 top-twenty finishes, achieving her lowest round score of 67.
In 2007, Anna solidified her status by qualifying for the Ladies Professional Golf Association with a top-twenty finish at Q-school.
As a golfer, Anna has partnered with various charities to raise funds for worthy causes. Despite her limited time availability, she actively participates in charity golf matches and hosts special events.
