At a local restaurant, Sir Alex Ferguson’s final Premier League title was celebrated by Manchester United.
On Sunday evening, Wayne and Coleen Rooney were at the forefront, leading footballers and their partners on a night out at Neighbourhood restaurant located in Spinningfields, Manchester.
Although the Rooneys played no role in Sir Alex Ferguson’s last match at the Theatre Of Dreams, this meal might very well serve as their farewell supper.
As he and his wife Coleen, 27, arrived at the New York-inspired dining spot, the striker, who has officially submitted a transfer request, was seen carrying an umbrella.
Honestly, Rooney’s salary greatly exceeds his cognitive grasp. For years, he has lacked the hunger to play the game. It appears he is merely content to mess around on the field while raking in a tremendous amount of money without any sense of integrity.
Robin van Persie, who has taken over Rooney’s role as United’s goal machine, also attended the dinner, sporting a relaxed look in jeans and a polo shirt.
Accompanying him was his wife Bouchra, who, like many of the WAGs, made significantly more effort in her appearance. Bouchra dazzled in a colorful short dress paired with a black fur coat and strappy heels.
With a 3-0 victory over Aston Villa last month, United’s 13th Premier League title was confirmed, although they waited until after their 2-1 win over Swansea at Old Trafford on Sunday to lift the trophy.
Following their title victory against Villa, the United stars painted the town red, went out after the preceding Sunday’s 1-0 loss to Chelsea, and were seen at the Chester races on Wednesday—the same day Sir Alex Ferguson revealed his retirement.
