For all the Lingerie Football League admirers concerned about what to watch after the season concludes, fret no more. The Bikini Basketball League is on the way.
This league comprises seven teams: the Chicago Desire, the Orlando Lady Cats, the Miami Spice, the Los Angeles Ice, the Hollywood Hotties, and the Atlanta Fleet Angels. Tryouts have already occurred across various cities, and the league is set to launch in the summer of 2013.
“This is a competitive basketball league, so we are definitely looking for girls that can really play,” , remarked a spokesperson for Miami Spice. “Moreover, it’s a bikini league where the players will be competing in bikinis, so looking great in one is essential.”
Despite facing criticism, the Lingerie Football League has indeed produced remarkable players. Additionally, it has gained notoriety for its Lingerie Bowl held on Super Bowl Sunday.
It’s still unclear if the Bikini Basketball League’s Finals will align with the NBA Finals. However, with a summer schedule anticipated, the league will be going up against the WNBA.
