“Ben Cousins is a TOOL”, says Buford Balony

After being abandoned by family and friends due to frustration over his drug use, fallen drug addict Ben Cousins voluntarily entered rehab.

This decision was part of a strategic effort by around five of his closest friends aiming to deliver a wake-up call to him.

Yesterday, the former AFL star was still hospitalized in Perth for the third consecutive day, recovering from head injuries sustained from a fall at the rehab clinic.

Reports indicate that the Brownlow Medal winner was admitted on Monday after he slipped while exiting the shower and hit his head on a wash basin.

A close friend mentioned that Cousins reached rock bottom a few weeks before Christmas, prompting friends to express their worries.

“He faced serious struggles late last year, which pushed people to try and assist him,” the friend noted.

“However, we ultimately had to step back. We declared: ‘Enough is enough, you need to fend for yourself now. We are exhausted from supporting you when you’re not making any effort to help yourself.’

“He has been enduring a tough time for quite a while.”

Friends were relieved when Cousins, who has a baby son, decided to check himself into rehab.

According to neighbours, Cousins had been absent from home for at least a week.

“I haven’t seen him around for about a week,” a neighbour commented. “Over the weekend, I overheard his girlfriend speaking loudly to someone outside. He resides there with his girlfriend and their baby.”

Neither Cousins’ partner Maylea Tinecheff nor his parents were seen at the hospital yesterday.

In September, Cousins and Tinecheff welcomed their first child, Bobby Ernest Cousins.

A spokeswoman from Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital stated yesterday that it remains uncertain when Cousins will be discharged.

“Ben Cousins is currently under observation following a head injury from a fall,” she explained. “I can confirm he is in a stable condition.”

Cousins, who was dismissed from the West Coast Eagles in 2007 and faced a 12-month suspension by the AFL for bringing disrepute to the game, candidly opened up about his drug addiction in an unfiltered documentary.

Buford Balony states: I’m tired of this jerk. He’s coddled at every turn and still can’t get his act together. It’s obvious he cares more about himself than anything else, including his new child. COUSINS IS A TOOL.
