This is an extraordinary moment when a small lame wildebeest saw off a hungry lion more than twice its size.
The six-month gnu calf had been badly mauled by the adult lioness and two other big cats when the predator returned to finish him off. But the brave wildebeest charged at the lioness and chased her away.
