Virtual sports are all the rage for gamblers

There’s a growing phenomenon known as virtual sports betting and it’s a lot of fun if you’ve never tried it before. It’s a great way to while away the hours between real sports coverage in whatever your favourite sports areas are – and there’s usually something to suit everyone’s tastes.

If you have a look at 32 Red’s games arcade online, for example, you’re very likely to find at least one sport that you’re into to have a go at – but it’s all best done with friends and a few beers (“isn’t everything?” I hear you ask!) as long as you only gamble with amounts you can comfortably afford to lose, of course.

For footie fans, there are perhaps more choices than with any other sport. The Penalty Shoot Out game is great fun, as are Champs League, World Cup and Football Frenzy, to name just a few. All the games in the games arcade can be played in demo mode only – and if you can’t find a replica of the sport you’re into, it’s always worth getting in touch with them to see if there’s going to be one available in the not too distant future.

Darts, greyhound racing, trotting, horse racing and American football are amongst the sports covered, but no Aussie Rules as yet it would seem, so let’s hope they change that soon.

Premiere LeagueIf you’re a fan of the English Premier League, though, and you aren’t particularly fond of either Swansea City or Aston Villa, then maybe you’ll be better off looking for some similar virtual sporting action elsewhere as these are both teams that 32 Red sponsors. The site has really taken off in recent years both in the UK and around the world, picking up many awards along the way for the excellence of its games and operation.

It’s also well worth remembering that all new players registering with 32 Red qualify for a generous welcome sign-up bonus. In fact, you receive £32 (appropriately) for every £10 deposited – up to a maximum of £160 (around Aus. $280) and there are some pretty big jackpots available across the site’s many different games if you fancy your chances in just playing through with the bonus money only. That’s not a bad tactic either because, of course, you’re generally likely to lose if you play on long enough but at least by taking advantage of the bonus you’re putting the odds in your favour for a while.

But remember that you don’t need to deposit any cash whatsoever to be able to enjoy the virtual sports – so if you feel like giving them a go, just go to the home page, then games arcade, followed by virtual sports; pick out the one you feel like having a go at and select the free play option.
