A bar is entered by a lawyer who takes a seat next to a drunk individual, intently scrutinizing something he holds between his fingers. The lawyer observes for a moment before his curiosity prompts him to inquire about the object.
“Well,” the drunk responds, “it seems like plastic and has the texture of rubber.”
“Allow me to see it,” the lawyer requests. He takes the object, rolling it between his thumb and forefinger while examining it thoroughly. “Indeed,” he concludes after a pause, “it appears to be plastic and feels like rubber, but I can’t determine what it is. Where did you obtain it?”
“From my nose,” the drunk answers.
