A war hero fell to his death from a rollercoaster.
US army veteran James Hackemer, 29…who lost his legs in a roadside bombing in Iraq…was thrown from the 90kph ride at a theme park near Buffalo, New York state.
His mother Nancy said, “He was assisted on to the ride…he was doing what he wanted to do.”
Safety experts are trying to establish the cause.
