A LOCAL pub has created a SEXY barmaid calendar to help raise funds for a nearby hospice.
The Paget Arms, located on Oxford Street, has produced a total of 500 calendars named The Paget Undressed, showcasing 12 staff members – Sarah Marshall, Hannah Mitchell, Jo Turner, Niki Conner, Laura Sealey, Alex Main, Steff Morris, Becky Samson, Sophie Holland, Flik Campbell, Pria Patel, and Gilly Armstrong – along with landlord Chris Allingham.
All the staff featured are students from Loughborough University, with the exception of Hannah, who is on the cover.
The Paget Undressed is dedicated to John Mack, a dear friend of the calendar’s photographer, Alan Duncan, who passed away at the hospice.
Available for $12, the A3 color calendar was launched a couple of weeks ago and can now be purchased at the pub as well as at 10 local shops.
Mr. Allingham remarked, “It’s a bit tongue in cheek, akin to the Calendar Girls, but it’s suitable for the kitchen without causing any offense, so it’s family-friendly. It was a lot of fun to create and would make an ideal Christmas gift.”
