In July, the mayor of Triberg, Germany, highlighted the town’s new public parking area, mentioning that 12 spaces were not only wider and well-lit but also specifically reserved for female drivers.
In contrast, the “men’s spaces,” which are harder to access, necessitated maneuvers around concrete pillars. The mayor remarked that “Men are, as a rule, a little better at such challenges,” and predicted these men’s spots would become a “visitor attraction” for the town.
