A Gurkha veteran who stabbed himself to death in the street with his Kukri knife had lost his voice through throat cancer.
Ex-Captain Sangdup Tamang, 70, killed himself in front of horrified neighbours in Cheriton, Kent in England.
His daughter, Asmita, said that he had been really upset and frustrated at his cancer.
