After being accused of corruption, Brazilian sports minister Orlando Silva has resigned.
Since President Dilma Rousseff took office in January, Mr. Silva becomes the fifth cabinet minister to step down due to corruption allegations.
He has rejected claims that he facilitated kickbacks amounting to millions of dollars from a fund intended to promote sports for underprivileged children.
Responsible for the preparations for the 2014 World Cup, Mr. Silva held a significant position.
