Wife saved husband from tiger attack…by bashing it with a ladle

A woman heroically saved her husband during a frightening tiger attack by striking the animal on the head with a soup ladle.

While hunting squirrels near their home in northern Malaysia, the rampaging big cat attacked Tambun Dedin.

Fortunately, Tambun’s 55-year-old wife, Han Besau, heard his cries for help and rushed to his aid.

With nothing but a spoon she had been using for cooking, she struck the tiger on the head, causing it to retreat.

Speaking from the hospital where he was receiving treatment for cuts, Tambun expressed his gratitude for his courageous wife.

He recounted, “I was in a state of terror and used all my strength to punch the animal in the face, but it wouldn’t move.”

Tambun explained that he attempted to climb a tree to escape on Saturday, but the tiger pulled him down.

He added, “I had to fight it off to keep its jaws away from me, and it would have clawed me to death if my wife hadn’t come.”

According to local wildlife officials, rangers are set to track the tiger and push it deeper into the jungle to ensure it no longer threatens people.
