Customers are ruffled by a fried chicken restaurant due to its logo resembling a phallic symbol.
The fast food van known as The Dirty Bird claims that the logo depicts a rooster, while patrons argue it clearly suggests something much more inappropriate.
One patron remarked: ‘While waiting in line with my two young sons, I noticed the logo and realized its implication.
‘It’s not something that should be visible around children.’
Another patron commented: ‘The food was delicious, but the logo left me feeling a bit surprised.
‘That’s not really what you want in mind while enjoying your meal.
‘I was somewhat taken aback, but I’d still return for more.’
The Dirty Bird, located in Cardiff, UK, has been dishing out fried chicken from their catering vehicle at various food festivals and events in recent months.
Additionally, the food company features large posters prompting customers with phrases like ‘Touch My Thigh’ and ‘Touch My Breast.’
It seems they are well aware of the implications…
Dirty Bird stated: ‘The logo originates from the lowercase initials ‘d’ and ‘b’ of Dirty Bird, where the loops create the wings, connected at the top to form a rooster’s shape. While some may find it phallic, that was not our intention when we initiated the design.’
