This fundraising effort is truly innovative.
Kicking off yesterday in Philadelphia, the first Masturbate-a-Thon is part of the celebration of National Masturbation Month, but it will continue until May 27. There’s a buzz of excitement in the air.
Donors are encouraged to contribute funds for every hour that participants dedicate to… being generous.
The proceeds will benefit local organizations focused on sexual education, including ScrewSmart and Pleasure Rush!.
With this initiative, the goal is to spark dialogues that lessen the stigma associated with discussing sexuality, advocate for sexual wellness, and highlight the significance of pleasure.
On May 30, the Thursday following the conclusion of the event, all are welcome to join “Creamium” – a lively gameshow and dance party where accolades such as “Most Creative Fantasy,” “Most Pleasure Connections,” and “Most Money Raised” will be awarded.
