Last weekend, police were informed that a young man from Valencia passed away due to cardiac arrest while allegedly attempting to rape his ex-girlfriend.
At that moment, they were inside the deceased’s vehicle, which was parked in Pinedo (Valencia). Despite having not yet received her driving license, his former partner chose to drive him to the hospital when he became unwell.
She recounted to National Police officers, who responded at Valencia General Hospital, that he had attempted to persuade her to engage in sexual activity.
Upon her refusal, he physically restrained her in the car and initiated the act of rape.
However, during his assault, he suddenly stopped breathing and seemed to be in severe distress, she reported.
Even without a driving licence, she believed it would be faster to take him to the hospital herself rather than calling for an ambulance.
Unfortunately, he was declared dead upon arrival, having suffered a cardiac arrest, the reasons for which are currently being examined by forensics.
