With eyes closed and a stylish hat perched atop his head, Niki is the feline master of relaxation.
This two-year-old cat has gained fame in Russia for his human-like sitting habits – often taking a catnap while maintaining the same posture.
From the time he was a kitten, he’s raised his paws and doesn’t shy away from wearing charming outfits for his admirers.
His owner, Virta, mentioned: ‘Initially, he didn’t do it very often, but then he started doing it daily. He’s quite at ease in this position and occasionally likes to stand on his hind legs like a meerkat too.
‘Niki enjoys sitting in various places—on the floor, in the bathroom, on the desk, on the cabinet, in the chair, on the couch—just about everywhere.’
He has made appearances on Russia’s version of MTV, and his profile supports fundraising efforts for victims of the Boston marathon bombing.
