A Chinese student, overcome with love, made the impulsive decision to express his feelings for a girl by sending her a bottle containing his sperm, reminiscent of a scene from Cameron Diaz’s popular film, There’s Something About Mary.
However, he found himself arrested after she mistakenly believed the package to be moisturiser and applied it to her face before quickly notifying the authorities.
As reported, the infatuated Gou Wen, age 22, expressed remorse and was compelled to pay the young woman $300 in compensation.
The object of his affections, Zeng Lin, 19, had already smeared half of the substance on her face when she began to question her flatmate about its unusual smell.
Wen, hailing from Chongqing, China, stated: ‘I love her deeply, but she was unaware of my feelings. Unsure of how to convey this to her, I thought that doing this would be the most profound expression of love.’
‘Now I realize my mistake, but I will look for another way.’
In the meantime, it might be wise for her to steer clear of any unexpected gifts of hair gel.
