This imaginative plumber has revolutionized commuting to work by constructing the world’s fastest fully-functioning toilet.
Colin Furze, 33, dedicated four weeks to creating a petrol-powered toilet equipped with a powerful 140cc motorbike engine, capable of reaching speeds of 55 mph.
This high-speed toilet features a button on the handlebars for flushing while in motion, as well as a clip for holding his favorite daily newspaper.
“It’s quite frightening to drive since the water makes the toilet very top heavy, and I end up getting wet whenever I go over bumps,” explained Colin, hailing from Lincolnshire, England.
“The toilet seat can be quite slippery, making it difficult to stay seated and prevent myself from sliding off at high speeds. Steering is also a bit challenging.”
As a plumber frequently called for toilet installations and repairs, he decided to build this contraption for a bit of amusement.
Additionally, four electronic gears have been installed on the handlebars, alongside a towel rail and a toilet roll holder.
“I’m accustomed to assembling toilets as a plumber, so I thought it would be a fun challenge to create the fastest one,” stated Mr. Furze.
“I’ve seen others make similar toilets using mopeds, but I opted for a more powerful engine to achieve much greater speeds.”
The title of the previous fastest toilet belonged to the Bog Standard, which reached 42.25 mph and was introduced in Milan, Italy, in March 2011.
