Charges have been filed against former NBA player Oliver Miller, widely recognized as The Big O, for supposedly pistol-whipping a guest during a BBQ in Maryland.
At 41 years of age, Miller has been charged with both first and second degree assault linked to the incident that occurred on Sunday in Arnold, which is located 56 kilometers east of Washington, D.C.
Although he was not present at the location when law enforcement arrived, Miller was located and taken into custody based on eyewitness testimonies and the discovery of a 9mm Glock magazine left behind.
Additionally, he faces charges for reckless endangerment, the use of a handgun in a violent crime, and various other counts related to gun possession, as mentioned in the report.
Standing at 6 feet 9 inches tall, the former standout from the University of Arkansas had a nine-season career in the NBA, with his last stint being with Minnesota during the 2003-04 season.
