A man from northern England became highly suspicious when his pet parrot
Ziggy recently squawked “Hiya Gary” every time his girlfriend, Suzy Collins’ mobile rang. Chris Taylor from Leeds didn’t know of anyone called Gary and his girlfriend claimed she didn’t either. But suspicions heightened when the eight-year-old parrot also started made kissing sounds whenever he heard the name Gary on TV. It appeared that his faithful pet was trying to tell him something.
When Gary was cuddling up to his girlfriend one evening, he then got a clear message that something wasn’t right when his parrot said as softly as it could,”I love you Gary,” and sounded just like his girlfriends voice.
“It sent a chill down my spine”.I started laughing, but when I looked at Suzy I could tell something was up. Her face was like beet root and she started to cry.”
Chris confronted Suzy, 25, his live-in girlfriend of two years and she told him: “I’ve got another man… named Gary.”
You don’t say.
Not only had she been cheating on Mr. Taylor for the last four months, she had been doing it right in front of his beloved pet. “It makes my stomach churn to think about what he might have seen them doing”.
When asked if he had witnessed an X-rated love scenes Ziggy replied, “Oh sure! In fact one time I even saw a Cockatoo – or was it three?”
But despite being a more faithful companion to Chris than his own girlfriend, poor Ziggy didn’t receive any thanks for his efforts. In fact, Mr. Taylor actually gave Ziggy away as he was tormented by the bird constantly mentioning Gary.
As for the unfaithful slapper, Suzy’s affair with Gary is now over and she hates the parrot, she said, “I couldn’t stand Ziggy and it looks now like the feeling was mutual.”
