Here’s a motorcycle that truly utilizes every resource – as it runs on waste.
The unusual invention, named Toilet Bike Neo, is a creation from Toto, Japan’s foremost toilet manufacturer, featuring a modified toilet and a mobile lab for processing waste.
Interestingly, the rider is encouraged to make use of the portable toilet throughout their journey, as the waste is converted into biofuel that powers the bike.
The company aims for the traveling toilet, capable of reaching speeds up to 50mph, to cut CO2 emissions by 50 percent within the next six years.
Currently, this three-wheeled chopper is on a 600-mile tour across Japan.
The journey for the mobile toilet began at Toto’s headquarters in Kitakyushu, with Tokyo as its destination set for November.
