After 30 guests fell ill with a stomach bug, a hotel in the resort where Fawlty Towers was situated has been shut down.
For cleaning purposes, the Majestic Templestowe Hotel in Torquay, Devon, has been closed for a week. Owner James Wright stated, “It is nothing to do with our hotel. It could be brought in at any time from planes, coaches and trains.”
Additionally, other local hotels have been impacted.
