Man sues BMW over ’20-month erection’

A lawsuit has been filed against BMW by a man who asserts that a ride on one of its motorcycles resulted in an erection lasting 20 months and counting.

Henry Wolf, a California resident, reported that after a four-hour journey on his BMW motorcycle featuring a ‘ridge-like seat,’ he has experienced a prolonged and persistent erection. He is now taking legal action against the automobile manufacturer and the seat producer, Corbin-Pacific.

There have been previous concerns that narrow ‘banana’ seats on motorbikes could lead to a loss of sensation in the genitals for both men and women, but in this instance, the outcome seems to be quite the opposite.

In the lawsuit, Wolf v BMW, it is alleged that the motorcyclist went for a ride in September 2010, and has since endured an erection that refuses to diminish.

It is generally understood that medical attention should be pursued if an erection remains for more than four hours.

Wolf’s lawsuit for emotional distress claims that he is ‘now unable to engage in sexual activity, which is causing him substantial emotional and mental anguish.’

He is seeking compensation from BMW and Corbin-Pacific for lost wages, medical bills, emotional distress, and ‘general damage.’

The man attributes his predicament to an extreme case of priapism – a medical condition characterized by a persistent, often painful erection lasting for several hours.

This condition is not specifically linked to sexual desire or stimulation and does not go away after ejaculation.
