While I can’t speak for attractiveness, it’s certainly become fashionable lately for men to spontaneously combust. In the United States, there was an incident where a man ignited after being tasered. Additionally, last year, an Australian man also caught fire following a tasering.
In Ohio’s Lancaster, a homeless individual named Daniel Wood, 31, ignited after being tasered, a result of chemicals from the aerosol can he had been inhaling.
Previously, the officer had observed the man using the aerosol can, prompting he and another officer to engage with Daniel. They extinguished the flames that erupted from the area where the taser made contact.
Wood claims he did not resist arrest; however, his assertions might carry more weight if his mugshot didn’t depict him looking utterly unhinged.
