Man in wheelchair robs bank at gun-point

In the US, police in Phoenix are searching for a gunman who, while using a wheelchair, stole $70,000 from a local bank.

Detectives reported that the man entered an AmTrust Bank branch in south Phoenix overnight and demanded cash from a teller at gunpoint.

After receiving the money, the man stuffed the cash into a bag resembling a laptop case, exited the wheelchair, and fled.

Police stated that witnesses indicated he might have escaped in a newer model red Ford Taurus.

The suspect was characterized as a Hispanic male, aged between late 20s and early 30s, with a slender physique.

He was dressed in a long-sleeved pinstripe shirt, a tan Fedora with a red and blue stripe, denim jeans, and black boots.

Surveillance images have yet to be made public, and anyone with information is urged to contact law enforcement.
