In Newport, South Wales, UK, a man had to call emergency services after a toilet roll holder became lodged in his rectum at his home.
Reportedly, the man was immobilized and opted to use his mobile phone to call 999.
Firefighters subsequently removed the foreign object, while paramedics were on-site to provide medical assistance.
The Fire Brigades Union in Wales commented, ”We often encounter unusual incidents.
‘There are times when an individual shares a story that leaves you thinking: “I can’t top that”.
‘Honestly, if I somehow found myself in such a predicament, the last thing I would want is a full crew of firefighters arriving to assist me.’
