According to US police, Rodell Vereen has been caught twice engaging in sexual acts with the same horse.
A man from South Carolina has been apprehended for sexually assaulting a horse after authorities report that the animal’s owner recorded the event on surveillance footage.
Law enforcement indicates this isn’t Rodell Vereen’s first offense; the 50-year-old previously admitted guilt last year for the same act with the horse and was subsequently added to the state’s sex offender registry. Vereen was taken into custody on Monday when he returned to a stable located 32 kilometers northeast of Myrtle Beach, where the owner, Barbara Kenley, discovered video evidence of him engaging in sexual acts with her horse earlier this month.
This time, she had been waiting for him with a shotgun and considered shooting him, although she ultimately chose not to in order to avoid imprisonment.
Vereen is currently incarcerated, and his brother claims that he suffers from mental health issues and may not have been adhering to his medication regimen.
