Back again is the World Testicle Cooking Championship.
While this season typically brings county fairs and harvest festivals, one festival in Serbia distinguishes itself from the rest. The World Testicle Cooking Championships, known as BallsCup, returns for yet another exciting year. Scheduled for August 30-31 in Gornji Milanovac, Serbia, this cook-off draws international competitors eager to showcase their culinary prowess with testicle dishes.
Though the name BallsCup may evoke thoughts of a jockstrap company, the festival has had a successful run for a decade now. Among the notable contenders at this year’s event is the Mayor of Reykjavik, who is leading a team to represent Iceland in the competition.
The organizers state that the unique delicacies offered at the festival are said to provide an aphrodisiac effect on men. They are also keen to assure any women interested in joining that they need not worry about becoming hairier as a consequence.
