Great Granny gets a boob-job at 83

At the age of 83, a great granny has sparked controversy by revealing that she underwent a boob job.

Marie Kolstad, hailing from Santa Ana, California, and a proud grandmother of 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, remarked, “Your breasts go in one direction and your brain goes in another.”

This essentially indicated that she invested $8,000 in a boob job, which included a breast lift combined with implants.

“I’m physically healthy, so I thought, why not make the most of it?” she expressed, also stating, “I want my kids to feel proud of my appearance.”

If you believe that cosmetic surgery is exclusive to the younger generation, think again. According to the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, in 2010, there were 84,685 surgical procedures performed on patients aged 65 and older.

This number featured 26,635 face-lifts; 24,783 cosmetic eyelid surgeries; 6,469 liposuctions; 5,874 breast reductions; 3,875 forehead lifts; 3,339 breast lifts; and 2,414 breast augmentations.

Is undergoing surgery at 83 considered too old? Or should everyone simply respect others’ choices?
