In a residential area of the French Alps, a small passenger jet has crashed.
The incident occurred shortly after takeoff, resulting in the deaths of two individuals onboard and leaving a young girl passenger severely injured.
Rescuers located the girl among the wreckage; she was alive but had sustained multiple fractures. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported on the ground.
According to officials, the aircraft, a PRM1 twin-engined corporate jet, began to experience difficulties shortly after taking off from a small airport located in the eastern town of Annemasse, which is approximately 5 km from Geneva.
“It impacted the roof of one house before crashing into the yard of a neighboring residence,” stated state official Pierre Molager.
