In Oklahoma, two women attempted to smuggle clothing and accessories valued at $2,600 hidden within their body fat.
The suspects, Ailene Brown, 28, and Shmeco Thomas, 37, were caught by a TJ Maxx employee as they concealed FOUR pairs of boots, THREE pairs of jeans, a wallet, and some gloves in the folds beneath their breasts and across their midsections.
Additionally, some items were discovered in their handbags.
Edmond police apprehended the duo at the discount store, charging them with felony shoplifting.
Officer James Hamm found it challenging to convey the specifics of the incident to a local television station.
‘These two were quite literally hiding them in areas of their body where excess skin accumulated, specifically beneath their, um, chest area and, um, their armpits and similar places.’
Authorities reported that the women had removed the security tags from the merchandise using a knife located in Brown’s bag.
