Is Tunisia witnessing the most foolish “revolution” in world history?
In the past, under the former regime, it was among the most progressive regions of North Africa. Women had the freedom to dress as they pleased, and wine accompanied meals.
Now, it seems we have regressed to the dark ages, with Christians murdered and Islamic factions shutting down red-light areas. A Polish Catholic priest has been discovered with a slashed throat. Reports indicate that unveiled women are facing harassment. So, don’t expect an “Arab Spring” anytime soon.
