If you visit the movies, you’re surely familiar with that one individual every theatre seems to have.
This is the person who answers calls during the film.
In California, a man lodged a complaint about a woman making calls, which led to her exiting the theatre with two men. One of those men returned and stabbed the complainant in the neck with a meat thermometer.
I doubt he was merely checking to see if his fellow cinema-goer was “done,” but that incident likely brought a new kind of thrill to the movie experience.
Now, the assailant, 40-year-old Landry Boullard, has been found guilty and is facing a life sentence in prison.
In addition to the stabbing, the victim suffered a blow to the head, resulting in bleeding on the brain, and subsequently fell into a coma. He remained hospitalized for five weeks.
