Dead lamb with human face

A dead lamb with a human-like face was born to a sheep in a village near Izmir, Turkey.

Erhan Elibol, a veterinarian, conducted a Cesarean section to deliver the lamb, but was shocked to discover that the lamb’s snout featured characteristics closely resembling a human face.

Though this event occurred last year, it remains absolutely remarkable.

“I have seen mutations in both cows and sheep in the past. I have witnessed a calf with one eye, a two-headed calf, and even a five-legged calf. However, upon seeing this young one, I was left in disbelief. His mother was unable to give birth naturally, leading me to assist,” shared the 29-year-old veterinarian.

The lamb’s head exhibited human-like features, specifically in the eyes, nose, and mouth, while the ears were those typical of a sheep.

Veterinarians indicated that this unusual mutation likely resulted from her mother’s poor nutrition, as her diet was excessively rich in vitamin A.

In September 2009, a similar goat was reported to be born in Zimbabwe, which had a human-like head and survived for a few hours before frantic villagers put it to death.

The provincial governor, where this peculiar goat was born, suggested that the creature was the result of an unnatural relationship between the female goat and a human.

“This occurrence is extremely shocking. It’s my first encounter with something so unnatural. It’s truly embarrassing,” he was quoted as saying. “The head resembles that of a man, while the body is distinctly that of a goat. This clearly indicates human involvement. Malevolent forces caused this individual to lose self-control. Although we often hear of humans engaging in bestiality, this is the first case resulting in an offspring with human features,” he continued.

The mutant creature lacked hair entirely. Residents reported that even dogs were hesitant to come near the strange animal.

Locals cremated the little goat’s body, leaving biologists without the opportunity to investigate this rare mutation.
