When police noticed a white van swerving erratically on a busy road, they were taken aback after opening the back doors and discovering a car lodged on its side inside the vehicle.
The two men from Kazakhstan, in an attempt to cut down on trailer expenses, had purchased a silver Mazda 626 to ship back to their homeland.
After realizing that the car wouldn’t fit in the white van upright, the duo reached out to some friends and managed to load it sideways, placing a mattress beneath it to prevent any scratches on the doors.
However, the journey for Konstanty Krol, 38, and Cezar Chmielewski, 28, ended when police apprehended their overloaded vehicle, which was swaying dangerously in Bargthheide, Germany.
According to a police spokesperson, both the van and the car were confiscated, and the men were instructed to return with an appropriate transporter for the vehicle before they could resume their trip.
