Black magic coconut detained by police

A coconut, believed to be linked to ‘black magic,’ has been seized by police after its discovery at a polling station.

CoconutThe fruit was confiscated by authorities at a school located on Guraidhoo island in the Maldives, following alerts from locals concerning the unusual tropical item.

Residents suspected the coconut was cursed, with claims that it might be an attempt to sway the presidential election.

‘The four-inch coconut, which had Arabic writing on it, was left on the ground near the school, clearly visible to passersby,’ a source mentioned.

‘Upon noticing the coconut, students alerted the principal, who subsequently reached out to the police.

‘Now, both school officials and police are more vigilant, with officers patrolling the school premises at night to prevent any actual black magic practices from occurring there.’

The authorities ultimately enlisted a ‘white magician’ to exorcise any evil from the coconut, but the magician concluded that the fruit was not genuinely possessed by malevolent forces.

The source added: ‘It appears to have been merely a prank, intended for people to become aware, learn a lesson, and refrain from repeating such actions.’
