Saimaiti Aishan, a Chinese acrobat, has successfully traversed a tightrope suspended between two hot air balloons, situated 100 feet above the ground.
On Saturday, the 27-year-old Uighur acrobat made his way between the balloons in Hunan province, preparing for a world record attempt at a staggering 650 feet high.
Reports indicate that Aishan faced some challenges during his crossing, necessitating a brief sit-down halfway due to difficulties with his balancing pole.
A significant crowd gathered to witness Aishan’s performance, erupting in cheers as he successfully reached the other side. However, in a nail-biting moment, the tightrope walker lost his balance and slipped off the rope while celebrating after reaching the balloon basket.
Although he completed the crossing at 100 feet, the 27-year-old is said to have fallen short during his attempt to cross at 328 feet, which is half the height he aims to conquer to secure his fourth Guinness World Record.
