This indicates that the plebiscite is seeking not just gay marriage, but equal rights for all individuals. Essentially, the change in legislation is a plea for the right of gays to marry. If this were articulated as the core reason for the plebiscite, I believe it would achieve majority support.
Let’s set aside the concealed motives and political misinformation; honesty is what we need to make an informed choice. My concerns regarding gay issues stem not from a position for or against them, but from a quest for truth.

They claim it is a woman’s choice. An unobscured face enables us to interpret intentions and discern the truth behind their words. A smile conveys a thousand sentiments, but that holds little value if we cannot see the face behind it. A Muslim woman ought to have the freedom to choose, and if she opts to cover her face, it should be done in private, not in a professional environment. It appears that the Muslim woman is regarded as a second-class citizen in her own country.
Germany is striving to restore equilibrium between men and women, NOT waging war on a woman’s faith.
How can it be just for a religion to compel women to conceal their heads while allowing men the liberty to wear what they consider religious? Both gays and Muslims should have the freedom to make their own choices, free from the influence of political agendas.
