When asking for a plebiscite on gay marriage, why is the argument used – free rights under the law for gays.
This means the plebiscite does not ask for gay marriage but for similar rights for all people. What the change in law really means is please allow gays to marry. If this was the explained as the reason for the plebiscite I feel it would be passed.
Forget the disguised information, the political misinformation just tell us the truth and let us decide. The reason for my diatribe on gays is not that I am for or against gays, but because I am looking for the truth.
The latest fogging of the truth, the dreadful sidetracking of the facts is the German call for banning the full face Muslim berka.
The reaction is the claim that we are attacking the freedom of the people to practice their religion, denying the rights of individuals, and disseminating against Muslims.
Are the Germans right to ban these hoods? – of course they are.
Are men forced to wear a full face covering?
They say it is a woman’s choice. An open face allows us to read intentions, and to understand if what they are saying is true. A smile is worth a thousand words, but not if we can’t see their face. A Muslim woman should be allowed to make a choice, and if she wants to cover her face, then do it home, not at work. It seems that Muslim woman is a second class citizen in her home land.
Germany is attempting redress the balance between men and women, NOT attacking the religion of women.
How can it be fair for a religion to make women cover their heads with a hood , and let men be free to wear what they think is religious . Gays or Muslims should be free to decide for themselves . And not be the subject of political spin of individuals. We are disseminating against Muslims.
