A new toothbrush that lets you know when it’s time for a replacement has been released.
This toothbrush is priced at approximately $4 and alerts users after a period of three months. It features a window built into the handle where the word “replace” appears in a flashing format.
The technology, which is called Timestrip, has received a patent. As stated by the Dental Health Foundation, a new toothbrush is 95% more effective in reducing plaque between teeth than one that is three months old.
Evidently, consumers sought a more dependable method compared to the existing system, where bristles change their color. This method lacks precision since variations in water quality and toothpaste can influence the bristles’ appearance.
