A man has had his eyes superglued shut during an attack in the central Victorian city of Ballarat.
Police say glue was also poured into the man’s ear during the attack on Sunday.
Senior Sergeant Paul Kinna says the man, who is in his 60s, had been arguing with a woman at a house in Sebastopol.
“As a result of that argument the lady has poured some superglue into the eyes of the male victim and into his ear also,” he said.
“She also gave him a few hits with a prosthetic leg.”
The man is “stuck” in hospital in a stable condition and will be taken to the Eye and Ear Hospital in Melbourne for treatment.
