Agony has been endured by a grandfather due to a mysterious condition that resulted in a massive growth appearing on his stomach after it swelled significantly.
Sixty-year-old John Macdonald’s nightmare began when he accidentally dropped a can of beer into a river and then took a sip from it.
A few hours later, he experienced severe illness, and after undergoing four surgeries along with multiple courses of antibiotics, he remains untreated, living with a hernia-like mass on his abdomen.
While fishing on the Brisbane River in Queensland, John expressed, ‘I want to share my story with the world in hopes that somewhere someone will hear my plea and help me recover.
