President Barack Obama expressed confidence in his ability to replicate some dance moves featured in the video for Psy’s hit single ‘Gangnam Style’.
During an interview with WZID-FM, Obama, who won a second term in the US election, stated that while he probably wouldn’t showcase the dance publicly, he’d be willing to demonstrate his moves to his wife, Michelle, privately.
“I just saw that video for the first time… I think I can do that move,” he remarked on the galloping style executed by K-Pop star Psy in the video. “I’m not so sure that the inauguration ball is the right occasion for that. Perhaps I could save it for a private moment with Michelle,” he added.
By winning nearly all key swing states, Obama secured his second term in office. The Democrats are anticipated to maintain control of the Senate, while the Republican party is likely to keep the House of Representatives.
He certainly appears to be a nice person to lead the United States of America.
Given the challenges posed by the global recession, achieving a second term is a notable accomplishment.
However, why does he often feel the need to state the obvious?
Commenting on legal firearms in light of yet ‘another’ tragic school shooting, he said, “We’ve got to do something about this”… absolutely right, Mr. President. As the most powerful man in the world, you have the ability to enact change.
While losing influential figures could be a consequence, as long as you are in office, I guess it does ultimately matter…
But… you are a good dancer… what more can I add…
Although a ‘Dance-Down’ might be on the horizon, Psy has yet to respond.
