In connection with two fatalities in Girrawheen on Wednesday, a man has been charged by the police.
Saso Filkovski, 37, was discovered deceased at a residence on Danbury Crescent, while Venesa Farcich, 31, was found lifeless at her home on Arnos Way.
A 36-year-old individual from Girrawheen has been charged with two counts of murder and is scheduled to appear in the Joondalup Magistrates Court today.
The victims’ family and friends are having difficulty processing the tragedy.
Around 3:30 PM, police discovered Mr. Filkovski dead at his home on Danbury Crescent. Less than an hour later, Ms. Farcich was found dead inside her family residence on Arnos Way, which had just recently hosted her son’s second birthday celebration.
Despite the efforts of paramedics to revive her, Ms. Farcich was pronounced dead at the scene. Her children are currently residing with a grandparent.
The two houses are located less than 100 meters apart.
Mr. Filkovski had continued to live with his mother in the family’s two-storey home on Danbury Crescent, where he was raised. He worked as a personal trainer, accountant, and IT consultant, running a gym from his family residence and a boxing ring at another property he owned across the street on Danbury Crescent.
The outcome is expected to be revealed later today.
