At the age of 96, an Indian farmer has achieved the status of the world’s oldest dad, surpassing his own record set two years prior.
Reports indicate that Ramjeet Raghav welcomed his second son, Ranjeet, with his wife Shakuntala by his side.
The former wrestler first made headlines in 2010 when Shakuntala, 52, gave birth to their son, Vikramjeet.
From his home in Haryana, near Delhi, Mr. Raghav expressed: “What can I do? This is all God’s wish. He wanted me to have another son.”
While Mr. Raghav takes pride in having two healthy sons at his age, he notes that his neighbors are more envious of his libido.
“I engage in intimacy three or four times a night. My neighbors are curious and keep asking for my secret, but I simply tell them it is God’s will,” he stated.
“I am healthy and I cherish my relations with my wife. I believe it is vital for a husband and wife to maintain a regular sexual connection.
“When she requests, I am up for it all night, but for the time being, I am prioritizing our child’s needs,” he added.
Mr. Raghav disclosed that he had led a life of celibacy and remained single until about a decade ago when he met Shakuntala.
“After being together, we agreed to expand our family and wished for two sons. Thankfully, with God’s grace, our desire has come true.”
